We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Glasgow based team. The successful candidate will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to hospital maintenance. While hospital maintenance experience is desirable, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities of Electrical Maintenance Technician:
- Undertake electrical maintenance duties as required.
- Assist in the maintenance of building service systems and equipment.
- Work on various types of systems and equipment in accordance with job requirements.
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to ensure work is carried out safely.
- Maintain familiarity with relevant Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM), Permit to Work procedures, and other applicable regulations.
- Participate in first aid and CPR training as necessary.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Competency in carrying out electrical maintenance duties.
- Familiarity with building service systems and equipment.
- Technical knowledge and experience to ensure safety in work practices.
- Adequate knowledge of first aid and CPR (training can be provided if necessary).
- Desirable: Familiarity with Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and Permit to Work procedures.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
