Working on a Continental shift pattern with one week off per shift rotation.

Nigel Wright is pleased to be supporting a leading manufacturer in the North East with their recruitment of an Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician.

£45,000 + Overtime + Benefits

The Role

The Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following,
  • Effectively responding to all reactive and preventative maintenance activities 
  • Generating practical engineering solutions to support production process  
  • PLC fault finding 
  • Installation and maintenance of all electrical systems 
  • Calibrate equipment to provided specification
  • Effectively responding to mechanical and electrical breakdowns across site

Person Specification

The successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician will have the following,
  • HNC or equivalent within an engineering discipline
  • Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of fault finding and root cause analysis
  • Strong communication skills, working effectively within a team
