Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: 4 day working week
Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 per annum
Working with one our long-standing clients in Sheffield, who manufacture complex castings for a range of different industries. Working on heavy industrial machinery, they are looking to recruit a permanent electrical maintenance engineer to join their team on a days regular 4 day working week.
Job Role:
- To carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of machinery including furnaces and high voltage equipment.
- Work as part of a 3 man team to ensure all breakdowns are responded to efficiently in order to reduce machine downtime.
- Fault find on a range of electrical equipment including 3 phase systems.
- Ensure safety practices and policies are adhered to, particularly working within heavy engineering or steelworks.
- Have a good knowledge of health & safety and work with the maintenance manager for continuous improvement activities.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical discipline and have experience as a qualified industrial electrical engineer.
- Experience within heavy engineering would be beneficial.
- A good knowledge of health & safety and the ability to work within a small but dynamic team
Job Details:
- £20 per hour basic rate Monday to Thursday 6am-2:50pm.
- Overtime rates at £25 per hour Friday and £31 per hour Saturday/Sunday.
- Holidays- 29 days per year, based on a 4 day week.
- Monthly bonus after 2 months service.
- Quarterly Profit Share after 9 months service.
- Death in service benefit £30,000.
- Advancement to Supervisory/ Managerial role available for the right person.
