VACANCY: ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION: MIRFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE

SHIFT PATTERN: 2 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS, 4 OFF

SALARY: £42000 - £48000

Our Client

Our client is a highly successful and growing business based in the heart of West Yorkshire.

As part of this continued growth, they seek an experienced, Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team.

The role

In the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will work both proactively and reactively to minimise downtime and maximise efficient working time within a factory environment, where you will be required to monitor, maintain and repair a variety of production machinery.

Duties include:

  • Proactive and reactive maintenance of production machinery
  • Follow a "CLEAN AS YOU GO" process
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Communicate effectively with all departments
  • Prioritise workload with breakdowns taking priority over daily tasks
  • Regular checks to ensure all machinery running effectively
  • Carry out electrical checks and diagnose faults
  • This is not an exhaustive list

About you

  • Time served Electrical Engineer or have C&G or equivalent qualification
  • PLC fault finding ability
  • Able to read schematic diagrams
  • Knowledge of hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • Manage daily activity via CMMS
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times
