We are currently partnering with a reputable manufacturing client in St Leonards in search of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This pivotal role comes with a salary of £40,000 per annum and includes flexible working hours, opportunities for overtime and onsite parking.

Role Overview: We are looking for an engineer who brings an electrical bias to support and drive improvements in production and maintenance. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining machinery, optimising efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance with a strong focus on electrical tasks.
  • Perform inspections and compliance checks according to electrical standards.
  • Work alongside teams to address and enhance production and safety practices.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and oversee routine maintenance planning.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong electrical bias with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with 3-Phase systems and low voltage controls.
  • Certification in Electrical Competency (18th Edition) is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced production environments.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills under pressure.
