Do you have electrical maintenance or PLC engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Leeds? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a British manufacturer.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will build, maintain and service production machinery as well as fault-diagnosing and finding solutions to various electrical problems.

If you were already in this role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Wiring from schematic
  • Commissioning of production machines
  • Working with, modifying, and installing machine automation
  • Developing and improving existing machinery

To apply for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will need an Electrical Engineering background and relevant education as well as the following:

  • Experience building/fixing/running production machinery
  • Ability to understand PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley ideally but by no means mandatory)
  • Competency in reading electrical schematic drawings
  • Relevant time in this role or appropriate education (apprenticeship/HNC etc)

This is a days based role, no shift work and with a company who are in the forefront of training and developing their staff.
