Description
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical instruments and systems.
- Design and install new electrical equipment and systems in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to acquire high-quality electrical equipment and systems.
- Record all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
- Participate in health and safety audits.
Profile
A successful Electrical Instrument Technician should have:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- The ability to work independently and under pressure.
