Electrical Engineering Instructor
OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering professional with a genuine desire for people development. You will be trained to provide high quality engineering training to young learners and corporate clients.
The role will require you to be involved in all aspects of the Electrical Engineering delivery including teaching, coaching and mentoring learners undertaking L4 & L5 qualifications in the use Electrical Engineering. You will be a time served Engineer with an Electrical background and degree qualified.
You will be required to travel to different sites in the Humberside region so you will need a full UK driving license and use of your own car.
The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment and hold supervisory experience in the Electrical Engineering sector. If you already hold a teaching qualification that's great! If not, full training will be given.
THE ROLE OF THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR:
To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Electrical Engineering qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery). Train learners towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.
We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR
- Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as a time served electrical engineer
- Degree qualified
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience of working with young people
- Full UK driving license
SALARY/BENEFITS: ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR
- 39-41K starting salary (depending on experience & qualifications)
