Company based in Leeds, LS27 7FE - training held here (accommodation supplied), working across the North East

  • Full time, permanent
  • £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
  • £400 on call renumeration

Leodis Stairlifts have been established for over 30 years and specialise in the installation, servicing, and repairs of all types of Stairlifts.

We believe in 'sensible’ working hours so typically 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (albeit some flexibility will be needed) as well as being a part of our ’24-hour Emergency Breakdown Call Out’ team, once you are fully trained for an additional £400.

Due to continuing growth, we are looking for an additional experienced Stairlift / Electrical Engineers with bags of initiative and a positive 'can do’ attitude to join our friendly team. We make life easier for people. We do this by improving access for greater convenience and independence.


About the role:

Join our growing team as a Stairlift / Electrical Engineer, where you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing Stairlifts in domestic and residential settings. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for career development and progression within our company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of various Stairlift models
  • Servicing, minor repairs, and call-out visits
  • Maintaining high service standards and excellent customer care
  • Completion of job cards using our app-based software


The Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal candidate would be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Maintenance or equivalent. However, full training will be provided - Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge are more important to us.

The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a 3-4-week period at our Leeds depot, for which accommodation will be supplied throughout this period. Once the training has been carried out, you will then go out with a local engineer for on-the-job training.
