An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a global leading packaging Manufactures for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will play a crucial role in providing continuous electrical equipment maintenance and repair service to the Cold End Production Department.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, repairing, or replacing Cold End electrical equipment to standards that maximize machine efficiency and performance
  • Responding to Cold End equipment and machinery breakdowns promptly
  • Planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment, systems and controls to be recorded and scheduled during job change
  • Apply the Company Health and Safety Policy within the department
  • Ensuring the efficient functioning of line equipment while minimizing downtime and sustaining performance at required levels
  • Identifying and resolving equipment and service faults
  • 1 in 5 weeks On Call

Ideal Candidate

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent (Electrical)
  • ONC in Electrical Engineering
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical knowledge
  • Problem solving
  • Enthusiastic and committed, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Manufacturing background
