Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer – £42,200 per annum based upon experience and qualifications – Penclawdd, Swansea SA4

The Role

Limitless Energy is a renewable electrical and heating company, installing solar panels, battery storage, electric vehicle charge points, heat pumps and solar diverters.

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who is passionate about quality and customer service to join our team.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar PV and EES systems across a range of sites around Swansea and surrounding areas including Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and Bridgend. We currently install solar on domestic sites with roof and ground arrays, with system size ranges from 2KW to 14KW+ on single, three phase and off grid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solar PV, inverter and battery DC Wiring
• Commissioning PV and battery systems and issue resolution
• Timely installation of solar PV panel systems to different roof types.
• Managing stock & material allocation to jobs
• Working within a team of engineers.

We run an electric fleet and work with mostly domestic and some commercial customers in and around Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend and Cardiff. We run the business from our eco-home in SA3 which demonstrates all the technologies we install and have site storage and van charging premises in Penclawdd, SA4.

Experience:

• Electrical installation in domestic environments: 2 years+ (required)
• Solar PV Installation: 1 year (preferred)
• Experience of working from heights (preferred)
• Experience of working on roofs (optional) 

Additional Health and Safety Training will be provided.

Licences and Certifications required:

• 18th Edition Course
• City & Guilds Accredited PAT Testing
• City & Guilds Accredited Inspection and Testing
• City & Guilds Accredited NVQ Level 3
• Full Driving Licence
• Solar PV and EES installation qualification (desirable – full training can be provided)
• EV car charging qualification (desirable – full training can be provided).
