Catch 22 are working with a commercial client, based near Huddersfield, who seek an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage the day-to-day operation of all planned and reactive maintenance activities on site. 

This role is available on a permanent or contract basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and rectification of electrical faults on commercial and industrial systems, machinery, and equipment
  • Replace lighting tubes and starters including flood lights at high level and heating elements.
  • Undertake PAT testing where required.
  • Carry out installation works including additional lighting circuits, power supplies, socket outlets, data outlets, CCTV systems, Fire alarms.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant electrical Qualification - City & Guilds (or equivalent NVQ level 3)
  • Previous trade experience in the relevant technical field
  • Portable appliance testing certificate (desirable) or willing to undertake training.
  • First aid qualification (desirable) or willing to undertake one at the earliest opportunity.
  • A valid enhanced DBS.
