Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Morley

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Working hours: Monday to Friday

My client, one of the largest facilities management organisations in the UK, is seeking a qualified Electrician who has experience working within commercial environments, carrying out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance within existing Facilities Management contracts. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a static site in Morley.

Main duties will include:

• Carrying out planned electrical maintenance in line with its scheduled date, following health and safety policies.
• Ensuring all faults and defects are remedied to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure all logs are kept up to date at all times.
• Carrying out reactive tasks and being proactive in highlighting areas of improvement.
• Carrying out additional FM duties in line with capabilities when appropriate.
• Contribute to the overall team and company objectives.
• Ensure the work area is left safe on completion of the job.
• Being able to be multi-skilled including basic joinery and plumbing.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• 18th edition qualified
• City & Guilds or NVQ
• AP qualification is desirable
• Ability to record work accurately on work sheets on computer-based systems
• To be able to join a call out rota
• The ability to provide excellent customer service
