The role:

The primary role entails ensuring the seamless operation of production machinery, with a strong focus on electrical installations, fault finding of electrical circuitry, and PLC monitoring. This involves the setting and adjustment of bottle filling, capping, and printing machines, accompanied by meticulous attention to detail and quality inspection of componentry throughout the production process.

Additional responsibilities include the connection of Flow boxes to filling lines, along with the performance of sanitization and washouts to facilitate the transition between product variants. Tooling changeovers are executed as required.

Maintenance, repair, and parts inspection are conducted on a scheduled basis or as deemed necessary, depending on production demands. The position requires working to deadlines while effectively managing workload and addressing conflicting priorities that may change at any given moment.

Key tasks:

  • Sanitize and wash production equipment on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule.
  • Conduct setting and tooling changes for bottle filling equipment, electrical installations, PLC monitoring, and repair activities.
  • Assist production in achieving filling plans and ensuring timely completion of work.

What you need:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar industry or discipline.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability to work on a shift pattern.
  • Powered pallet truck license.
  • Honest, reliable, and hardworking with a friendly nature.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive in making changes quickly and taking responsibility for actions.
  • Proficient in manual handling and competent in using various hand tools.
