Electrical Engineer Harness

Electrical Engineer (Harness) - £27.00/hr PAYE

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This Electrical Engineer (Harness) role is for a 12-month contract in Cranfield, and it offers a rate of £27 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35).

As an Electrical Engineer, you will generate and develop cost-reduction ideas for low-voltage and high-voltage Harnesses and work cross-functionally with other sections to deliver the ideas.

In your first few weeks in this Electrical Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Develop vehicle harnesses and other electrical components to design/test standards
• Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to QCT (Quality, Cost, Timing)
• Manage in-house and supplier validation of components
• Countermeasure determination with test groups.

• Fluent written and verbal English language capability
• Harness layout and application experience
• The ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
• Relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development.
