Due to continued expansion, our award-winning client based in Peterborough, currently has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer.
Purpose of Role:
As an Electrical Designer you will provide electrical service supporting all departments in the UK and abroad. Primarily providing day-to-day solutions for electrical design, programming, and testing of Omega Sinto Machines. This role will involve regular travel to the customer site.
Main Duties:
- Support all departments in the Organisation with electrical requests.
- Working along site with all departments on customer projects.
- Managing customer projects from an electrical point of view.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical drawings using computer-assisted engineering software estimating material, labour costs, and project timescales.
- Ordering and coordinating panels build and installation.
- Designing and conducting tests
- Creating technical file
- Making sure projects (electrical design) meet electrical safety regulations.
- The role will also involve attending meetings, giving in-house and external training, writing reports, and giving presentations to managers, clients, and service engineers. commission machine at the customer site
- Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations.
This list of duties is not exhaustive, the post holder may be asked to carry out other duties as a result of discussions with their line manager. The post holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.

- Salary circa £50,000 per annum
- The role is full-time based on a 37-hour week, working Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.45.
