Electrical Design Engineer - Bedfordshire - £40k - £50k + Bens

We have a new vacancy for a Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established, Bedfordshire based leader in the development of special purpose machinery and automation systems for the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The Electrical Design Engineer will join their team developing highly innovative and flexible manufacturing solutions using advanced control and automation for this fast-moving industry sector.
  
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward thinking and open-minded player within the Special Purpose Machinery sector, a market leading company with a strong client base both in the UK and overseas.
 
 Requirements for the Electrical Design Engineer role:
  • Degree or HNC/HND in electrical engineering or extensive equivalent experience in lieu
  • Proven practical electrical wiring experience. mechanical experience would also be beneficial.
  • Previous electrical CAD experience specifically with Eplan Pro Panel (Eplan not essential).
  • Experienced in reading and interpreting technical drawings and interpret data in written/numerical form on electrical systems.
  • Works well as an individual and effectively within a group.
  • Knowledge of PLC hardware and software such as, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley & Siemens benefical
  • Knowledge of Industrial networking systems such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, RS282, RS485, etc beneficial
