Are you an Electrical Design Engineer seeking your next role? Our client is a well-respected manufacturer, designer, and technologically leading industrial producer. They are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their established friendly team, the Electrical Design Engineer will work closely with multiple departments to deliver great products and service. The Electrical Design Engineer will be involved in the design and editing of products whilst assisting the sales team, this will also include the Electrical Design Engineer engaging with clients directly.
Salary: £38,000- £43,000
Shifts: Monday – Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
Office based with hybrid flexibility

About you
- Experienced in design software (Auto Cad/ Solidworks)
- Experienced in design/ creating wiring schematics
- Experienced in plan layout with electrical schematic software (SEE Electrical)
- Ability to estimate costs and purchase components
- Experienced in designing bespoke control systems
- Ambitious and wanting to progress in their career
- You come from an electrical and design background
- Design and specification of bespoke ventilation control systems.
- Meet requirements of customer specifications and requirements.
- Create quotations based on schematics, layouts and components.
- Create wiring schematic designs, layout plans and drawings (SEE Electrical).
- Modify existing mechanical drawings (Solidworks).
- Utilise Microsoft Dynamics ERP to create BOM’s and production routings.
- Provide technical support for existing electrical and mechanical products.
- Pre-delivery inspection and quality assurance testing.
- New product development and implementation.
- Work closely with production lines and sales team.
