Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, a Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy, based in Ascot are seeking a Electrical Design Engineer to join them due to continued growth. The Electrical Design Engineer will be working on a range of commercial projects focusing heavily in the educational sector, operating as part of a small team and integrating with their Building Surveying & Project Management division to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects for long standing and respected clients.

Projects are generally based within 1-2 hours of the Ascot office and vary from £5k to £1M plus. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for all design works on the projects as well as contract administration and project management on the Electrical side.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have a minimum 1 years' experience as a Electrical Design Engineer working in the construction sector. The candidate will also need a full driving licence and to be based within commuting distance of Ascot.

Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £30k - £35k DOE (possibly more for a strong candidate)
• Car Allowance up to £4k PA
• Hybrid working
• Pension scheme
• 25 days Holiday increasing yearly to a maximum of 30 days

• Bonus scheme (discretionary)

Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of the commercial / educational sector is advantageous but not essential
• The most suitable candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience
• Ideally CIBSE qualified (not essential)
• HNC / Degree in Building Services or similar (not essential if candidates have good experience)
• Good tenure (no job hopping)
• Must be looking for a long term role
• Full UK driving licence
