Electrical Design Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to collaborate with leading structural steel experts in recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer in Malton.

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for producing electrical engineering designs for modular buildings, equipment housings, and other applications as needed.

Other responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer will include:

• Work as part of the team producing electrical engineering solution schematics, solid models and calculations from tender stage through to contract completion.
• Work as part of the team producing heating, lighting and ventilation solution schematics, solid models and calculations from tender stage through to contract completion.
• Continue to learn and develop personally and professionally within the role and accept secondment to other departments to support learning, e.g. site, estimating, contract management.

We would be keen to speak with Electrical Design Engineers with the following skills:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters desired not essential. - or other qualifications with relevant on-the-job experience
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• IT Literate
• BS 7671:2018 IET wiring regulations 18th edition qualified (necessary).
• Familiarity with AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Amtech, and Dialux or equivalents would be beneficial
