Electrical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Poole, Dorset area. Due to continued success they are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team, and assist with the electrical design of control panels.

Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the development of new technologies and machinery designs, which include:

  • Producing electrical design drawings using Eplan
  • PLC programming with the use of Siemens and Omron PLC's
  • Wiring and commission for bespoke automation systems
  • Occasional travel to cutomer sites for commissioning of electrical systems

Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • HND or above within an Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Robotics field of study
  • Experience with electrical design software such as Eplan, AutoCAD Electrical, PAScal or Sistema.
  • Ability to design electrical circuits
  • Strong communication skills

Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £30,000 - £40,000
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15, Friday 08:30 - 16:00.
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • Company Pension Scheme
