In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Analyze the functionality and suitability of design solutions
  • Generate documentation, including performance calculations, test plans, and component selection justifications
  • Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to develop fully integrated solutions
  • Apply your expertise in power & electrical design, control & instrumentation, and safety assessments

We are looking for a talented professional with:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the MOD, Aerospace/Defence, or Marine Technical sectors
  • Proficiency in variable speed drives, motor starter panels, distribution systems, and PLC systems
  • Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and associated standards
  • Familiarity with E-Plan & Solidworks Electrical is a plus
