Are you a HV Electrical Design Engineer, looking to take on a Senior / Principal level role within a rapidly growing HV Electrical Engineering company, which offers turnkey solutions, covering all aspects of design, build, maintenance and repair of networks and utility connections, currently working extensively within Industrial, Commercial and Renewables, working with clients such as RWE and the National Grid, where you will play a key role in their ongoing success and development?

The company are a NERS accredited Independent Networks Provider, and work on major projects across the UK. They have a multi-disciplinary team, with designers, estimators, projects managers and SAP's. The company work with all DNO's, and a major part of your role will be working with DNO's to ensure the design approval process runs smoothly.

You will be responsible for producing preliminary and detailed engineering designs, up to 132kV, liaising with DNO's to attain design approval, leading on client management and acting as a senior engineer; helping to mentor more junior designers.

The role:

• Produce Electrical designs ranging from 11kV-132kV
• Liaise closely with clients, DNO and construction / project teams to ensure the design approval and construction processes run smoothly
• Training and mentorship of junior / intermediate designers - checking quality of work and signing off
• Represent the design team when presenting to clients, with commercial acumen
• Support the whole project lifecycle, occasionally attending site (around once every 2 months
• Hybrid / Remote role with 1 day required in the office a week - all expenses paid

The person:

• Electrical Design Engineer, with HV experience
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with DNO / IDNO to attain design approval
• Permanent or Contract Staff welcome to apply
