£35,000 - £45,000 (OTE £55,000) + Progression + Performance Based Bonus (10 - 15%) + Overtime + Training

In this role the successful Electrical Design Engineer will be involved with designing the circuits, layouts and PLC equipment of MCC Panels. You will be fault finding,

conducting electrical tests and occasionally making modifications to the control panels on site. If you have a strong knowledge of testing components within control panels they are willing to train in Ametch and EPlan, further developing your professional skills.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will be primarily office based but sometimes have to visit site to make modifications. You will have knowledge of MCC panels and their design as well as experience or knowledge on how to test the components within control panels.

The Role

  • Designing MCC Panels
  • Experience with CAD (Training on EPLAN)
  • Producing I/O configuration and I/O lists
  • Work in a team of 6
  • Designing cable routes, calculate containment size and update building layout drawings

The Person

  • Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or C&G Level 3, NVQ 3 & requirements forelectrical installations or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Amtech, AutoCAD, Excel or other drawing packages
  • Full UK Driving license
