Electrical Craftsperson

As the Electrical Craftsperson work alongside the operations team on site to ensure the day to day electrical maintenance and testing on the Pipeline System to ensure it is working safely along with working methodically to ensure that all other facilities, plant and equipment are maintained in an efficient working manner.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Work alongside the operations team on site to ensure the day to day electrical maintenance and testing on the Pipeline System to ensure it is working safely along with working methodically to ensure that all other facilities, plant and equipment are maintained in an efficient working manner.
• In addition, you will carry out regular maintenance of LV distribution small power and lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing and Electrical periodic inspection and testing to BS 7671 and BS 60079 including Hazardous area electrical inspection and testing work in accordance with procedure.
• While the role is mainly Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.00 due to the nature of our business you will be needed for overtime when required for out of hours break downs and emergencies.

To be successful in this role of Electrical Craftsperson we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• Possess 5 C (or equivalent) GCSE's
• Ability to understand the reasons for and applications of a variety of safety management processes such as Permit to Work, Safety Critical Tasks and Risk Assessments.
• Hold CompEx, 2394 and 2395 and 17th Edition IEE Regulations and be BS7671 qualified.
