Autoflame Engineering is a world leader in combustion management & control systems for industrial boiler/burner applications with a reputation for quality and innovation. Due to ongoing product development and expansion, Autoflame requires an Electrical CAD Engineer to support the development of control panels and system installation drawings.

Responsibilities:

Working in the Engineering team to design and develop electrical CAD drawings for manufacture of electrical panels and full system installations.

Development and review of schematics against relevant standards and system requirements.

Develop a thorough understanding of the requirements for combustion control systems.

Produce, modify and maintain technical documents is support of panel manufacture and system installation.

Develop quotations in support of sales team.

Define BOM for the design and liaise with purchasing to ensure all parts are available in a timely manner.

Liaise with electrical technicians to ensure the control panel design is fully implemented and the requirements are met.

Provide remote technical support for site installations.

Working with a diverse team across the Autoflame business to deliver solutions.

Skills and Competencies:

Experience in an Electrical Design Engineer position.

Proficient user of AutoCAD Electrical.

Experience in electrical control systems.

Knowledge of industrial panel design.

Knowledge of LVD, IEC 61439 and UL 508A standards an advantage.

Good knowledge of safety critical circuitry.

Strong communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels including production, service and to senior levels.

Be proactive, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and provide support for panel manufacture and system installation.

Attention to detail is vital.

High level of organisation is required.

Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a drive to get solutions.
