Do you have experience with wiring, in a production environment, with renewable energy or enjoy a practical role? 

Our well established client is looking for both qualified and trainee Electrical assembly operatives for a Temporary to Permanent role.
The role will involve building,wiring and installing Low Voltage electrical switchgear, control panels and related products.

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm
and Early finish on Friday 8am-1pm.
£11- £15 per hour starting rate dependent on experience.
Site premium of £4 per hour whilst on site or travelling to / from site.
Permanent role
after completion of a succesful 12 week temporary assignment.

The successful candidate will be Practical, Methodical and Conscientious
If you hold an electrical NVQ 3 or equivalent experience working in the electrical industry this would be beneficial, but not necessary as training can be provided.

Electrical Panel Builder/Installers Main Duties:
  • Build of electrical switchgear, control panels and similar.
  • Organising and carrying out site work and installation of Low Voltage electrical switchgear.
  • Ensuring work is progressed and completed on time to the proper standard.

Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
  • Trained electrician NVQ 3 or equivalent experience working in the electrical industry.
  • Experience of building distribution boards, electrical switchgear or similar products.
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics and bills of materials
  • Familiarity with electrical controls and LV power components.
  • Knowledge of panel assembly / fabrication techniques.
  • Problem solving and working to deadlines.
  • Driving license.
