Electrical Assembler/Line Wirer

Perm, £24,943 to £26,744 pa DOE, 39hrs per week, Days, ASAP starts

Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Electrical Assemblers/Line Wirers to work for a Manufacturing company based near to Yeadon, Leeds on a Permanent basis.

The role is more complicated than just Line Wiring so will be suited to Part Qualified Electricians or Electrician’s Mates who want to work in a workshop and away from Site work or candidates who come from Electrical Assembly background. Ideal candidates must have previous Electrical experience or come from an electrical manufacturing/production background. You must have the ability to think logically, be able to work from schematic drawings, have good communication skills, be willing to be decisive and make decisions and be a team player.

You will be working in the Chillers Department wiring the insides of the various machines. The role may also include some Control Panel work and Line Wiring. Other tasks will include:

-Working from schematics

-Numbering cables

-Looming and crimping

-Soldering

-Testing/Fault finding

-Completing work to a high standard

Day shifts are 6am to 2.30pm from Mon to Thurs with an 11.45am finish on a Friday. The role is advertised as Permanent and with a starting salary of between £24,943 and £26,744 pa Depending on Experience and/or Qualifications. Overtime will be available during busy periods.
