The Company
With a long and prestigious history and a UK wide client base, this growing Surveying Consultancy have sites across the UK and Ireland. They specialise in the supply of technical services to the construction and infrastructure sector where they utilise state of the art technology to deliver data and information to clients who are then able to make more informed decisions on their projects.

The Role
As a key member of the company wide Environmental Health & Safety Team and reporting to the Group EHS Director, the EHS Officer will be responsible for providing EHS support to all departments across the business to ensure compliance against all company, client and statutory / legislative requirements. The role will be field / office based and so the ability to travel and represent the business on client sites will be mandatory.

The Person
You will have a proven background in Environmental Health & Safety within and heavy duty / construction-based environment and will be IOSH / NEBOSH certified. The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations will be a must in this environment.

Previous working knowledge of the infrastructure / utilities / HS2 project arenas would be a big advantage in this role.
