The Learning Support department has a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team to lead the consultation process for Education, Health and Care plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team.

We are recruiting for a dedicated person who will respond to EHCP consultations from the local authority SEND team to place and fund a young person in our educational setting. Also managing a team who monitor and review each young person's educational progress, and appropriateness of support.

You will work proactively with students, parents, carers, internal and external stakeholders to ensure inclusive and challenging support for students to achieve the outcomes as detailed in their EHCP and to thrive in their career or independent living aspirations.

You will be a strong team player with a real desire to help young people. The right candidate must have a teaching qualification, previous experience of working in a further education setting supporting young people with specific learning differences and or disabilities, and exceptional knowledge of the SEN and Disability Code of Practice 2014 is essential.

Interviews are anticipated to be held week commencing 13th May 2024
