Job Title: EHCP Assessment Co-Ordinator
Location: Maidenhead, UK
Salary: £25 per hour
Hours: 2 days per week

About Us: We are a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional support and services to children aged 0-14 years in need of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP) in the Maidenhead area. Our mission is to ensure every child receives the tailored support they deserve to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments for children requiring EHCPs.
  • Draft EHCP plans that adhere to the statutory requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Manage relevant casework, including supporting work for Tribunal Cases
  • Attend annual reviews of EHCP plans and update plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in conducting needs assessments for children.
  • Strong understanding of the statutory requirements related to EHCPs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding the rights and welfare of children.
