?? Position: Educational Support Worker

?? Location: SEN PRU in Bournemouth (BH7)

?? Age Group: 5-16 years old

?? Availability: Full-time, Immediate Start

Role Overview: As an Educational Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting children with SEMH and other complex needs, fostering their growth and development within a Special Educational Needs Pupil Referral Unit (SEN PRU) in Bournemouth. Your commitment to providing individualized support and creating a positive learning atmosphere will contribute to the overall success of the children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong rapport with children aged 5-16
  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist in implementing educational and therapeutic strategies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Genuine passion for working with children with SEMH and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting
