Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Education Sales Lead to join the team.

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

Job Type/Hours: Full-time permanent

Their unique platform seeks to blend the healthy competitive nature of gaming with an educational spin, by allowing teachers to engage directly with students through the medium of games. Their platform is tailored to allow teachers to alter their basic games by including content from the topics they are focusing on at the moment.

Education Sales Lead – The Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Lead to join their expanding team. You will serve as both a leader and a contributor, overseeing a team of sales representatives while also taking ownership of your own sales growth. You will not only be responsible for guiding and upskilling your sales team as well as actively engaging in sales activities, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals. You will also be responsible for staying abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Education Sales Lead – Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our client's products and solutions

- Leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives, focusing on driving efficiency and upskilling

- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with educational institutions, including schools, districts, and higher education organisations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives

- Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure adherence and mitigate risks

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and build relationships with key stakeholders

Education Sales Lead – You:

- Previous experience selling SaaS products to educational institutions

- At least 2 years of experience in a sales leadership or management role

- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others, cultivating a collaborative and supportive team environment

- Strong drive and determination to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets, coupled with a competitive mindset

- Proficiency in utilising CRM systems to monitor sales activities and devise effective sales strategies.

- Preferred experience with sales tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, and Gainsight, though not essential

- Possession of a network of contacts within the education sector is beneficial
