Position: Education Recruitment Consultant

About the Role: As an Education Recruitment Consultant at Veritas Education Recruitment, you'll be responsible for recruiting Teaching Assistants across East Lancashire. This role offers the opportunity to work on a "warm desk," where relationships with schools and candidates have already been established. You'll play a vital role in matching talented Teaching Assistants with rewarding opportunities in schools, making a positive impact on both educators' careers and students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools and educational professionals in East Lancashire.
  • Sourcing, screening, and placing Teaching Assistants in suitable vacancies.
  • Providing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to placement.
  • Collaborating with schools to understand their staffing needs and preferences, ensuring successful placements.
  • Meeting and exceeding recruitment targets, contributing to the company's growth and success.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the sector.
  • Previous experience in recruitment or sales, with a proven track record of success (education recruitment experience preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and schools.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilience, determination, and a competitive spirit.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
