Burman are supporting a leading governmental institution committed to serving our diverse community with integrity, transparency, and inclusivity. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to join our team and drive forward our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies, policies, and initiatives that promote a culture of inclusivity and equality within our organisation and across the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategies aligned with organizational goals and values.
  • Conduct assessments and analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendations to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on DEI-related matters, including recruitment, retention, training, and employee engagement.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops to raise awareness, promote understanding, and cultivate inclusive behaviours and practices.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for employees from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their voices are heard, and their needs are addressed.
  • Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and legal requirements related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and proactively incorporate this knowledge into organizational policies and practices.
