Job Duties:

• Set up and operate woodworking machinery, which may include CNC machines, Edgebanders, or Beam Saws, to fabricate wooden components.
• Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
• Inspect finished components for defects, accuracy, and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wood Machinist with expertise in operating woodworking machinery.
• Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment, including CNC machines, edgebanders, or beam saws.
• Strong knowledge of wood materials and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret woodworking plans and drawings.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality woodwork.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Salary & Hours:

• Salary: £13.00 -£14.00ph
• DayShift - 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 7am - 1pm Friday
