eCommerce Photographer

Role Overview:

The eCommerce photography team plays a crucial part in #TeamProDirect. Year on year, we roll out thousands of premium sports products, producing a minimum of 20 large publications and launching an average of 25-30,000 products. Behind the scenes at Pro:Direct, life within this team is very fast paced, with the team photographing a huge variety of Sports and Sports Fashion products, for all six of our eCommerce channels.
We are now seeking a talented Studio Photographer who can capture high quality images, delivering standardized media assets that adhere to company guidelines and time-scales. This role will see you working alongside a strong team of talented individuals, as well as working closely with our eCommerce Retouchers, and will include comprehensive training to ensure ongoing success in the role.

What we need you to do as an eCommerce Photographer:

• Create consistently accurate product pack-shot images in line with supplied templates and in-house styles / guidelines on models & desktop.
• Ensure a high standard of output in both quality & quantity.
• Utilise Capture One Pro with tethered photography.
• Maintain databases of images and associated systems and documents.
• Build relationships with models to ensure they feel comfortable for entire time shooting with us.
• Direct models to get the best images possible, ensuring posing and posture is as you need for the best results of images.

Your skills as an eCommerce Photographer:

• Previous professional photography experience required.
• Photography or Media or Arts graduate with at least one year’s commercial studio experience OR 3 years commercial experience (if not graduate).
• Experience of producing product photography.
• Proficient in Capture One Pro.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience of tethered photography.
• Able to work with a high level of accuracy and technical ability.
• Must possess a pro-active approach and to work independently when required.
