Based out in the stunning Didcot Head Office 3-days a week, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing Whittard of Chelsea’s ecommerce trading performance, all whilst receiving, generous holiday, product discount and continued investment into your professional development. A day in the life of an Ecommerce Merchandiser looks like this:

As Ecommerce Merchandiser, you will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and wider team to develop and implement online merchandising strategies. Adopting a data-first process, you’ll continuously review data using various analytics tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.    

Immersing yourself in the online customer journey and product performance data, you’ll recommend strategies to enhance the customer journey and drive sales.

As Ecommerce Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, deploying and maintaining online merchandising across the Whittard websites.
  • Optimising product listings, imagery and descriptions to drive sales.
  •  Using analytics to drive strategies and monitor customer behaviours and conversion rates.
  • Working alongside the Ecommerce Manager to continuously explore improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wider Ecommerce and Creative Team to develop product descriptions and media assets to enhance the online shopping experience.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in an Ecommerce Merchandising role.
  • Proven experience in using online analytics tools to optimise sales and customer experience.
  • Knowledge of CMS/Ecommerce platforms.
  • Confident in understanding customer behaviour, ecommerce trends and merchandising best practices.
  • Understanding of HTML is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external partners.
