Ecommerce Assistant

  • Salary: £23,000
  • Location: Crawley
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

My client is seeking an Ecommerce Assistant to join our fast-paced Marketing and Ecommerce team. This role is integral to supporting growth across multiple ecommerce platforms and contributing to the development and launch of online stores.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the role and gain extensive skills in digital marketing and ecommerce.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Monitor and coordinate updates required for the company’s Amazon Marketplace platforms.
  • Conduct regular data analysis of marketplaces, ecommerce website, and B2B customers.
  • Support the launch of new products on digital channels.
  • Implement content plans and promotional calendars across digital channels.
  • Ensure visual merchandising of product listings is optimised and up to date.
  • Assist with the launch of new ecommerce websites and website development projects.
  • Analyse marketing activities, present summaries, and highlight growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to regular email campaigns and digital marketing strategies.
  • Work with third parties to monitor digital marketing and PPC campaigns.
  • Analyse data from multiple sets and present findings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational ability, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient copywriting and computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)..
  • Availability to travel to shows and events when required.
  • No previous marketing experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Marketing degree/qualification or experience is a bonus, but not mandatory.
