This is a full time , temporary assignment, ongoing with a possibility of this becoming a permanent position for the right person.  

Based in an East London girls School.  Full time hours 09.00 - 17.00

The Role

The role of the East London Teaching School Hub Administrator is to provide outstanding administrative support to the Hub’s leadership team and to work collaboratively with the East London Teaching School Hub central team. You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, requests and messages regarding the hub and will also support with events management.

The nature of the support required will vary from day to day and the postholder will be required to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. 

Do you have the following:-

  • Great communication skills, providing a warm, friendly and professional experience for all participants and external stakeholders you work with.
  • An appreciation of the importance of handling data sensitively and confidentially, and of GDPR compliance.
  • Keen attention to detail and a willing to learn.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong  computer literacy, with experience of using a range of Microsoft packages
  • An appreciation of how important it is for all forms of communication to be accurate and of the highest quality, as these will often be used by potential participants to form their first impressions of the organisation.
  • An adaptive working style, with an ability to work with a broad range of internal stakeholders including senior leadership and programme coordination teams.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with enthusiasm, speed and accuracy.
  • An ability to learn, retain and apply new knowledge and keep up-to-date..
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, listening skills and confident communication.
