Presenting a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic 3-form entry which is at the heart of the local community. The school are now looking to hire an Early Years Teaching Assistant who is committed to doing what is best for the children in their care.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning whilst demonstrating and promoting positive values, attitudes and behaviours. You will also be required to support the class teacher by working with individuals or small groups, preparing the classroom as directed for lessons and keeping aware of pupil problems, progress and achievements to report to the teacher.

A successful candidate will have a passion for education with a strong commitment to the personal development of pupils. Those with past experience of working in an Early Years environment will be preferred.

This role will also involve working as a Lunchtime Controller each day. The role is available on a fixed term contract until July 2024 and will be working for a total of 30 hours and 50 minutes per week.
