Job Title: Early Years Teacher
About the Role:
The role of the Early Years Teacher in this thriving SEND School would be to prepare, plan and deliver lessons that are appropriate for the age and stage of the children and the targets on their individual education plans. The main focus of the Early Years Teacher is to adapt their pedagogy for each childs needs, in order to scaffold the children's learning and ensure that they are developing holistically.
About the School: This ASC (Autistic Spectrum Conditions) specific school is based in Erdington and supports children aged 3-16 years old, some of which may also experience speech and language delays. They work with many external agencies/professionals such as therapists and other schools within their Multi-Academy trust and other Birmingham SEND schools.
This school offers specialist classrooms with learning environments geared towards specific subjects, enhancing learning opportunities for all students.

Qualifications, training and experience required:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent certification in Special Education.
- Proven experience of working with young children with learning difficulties, or delay in speech and language.
- Stong understanding of the different approaches used to maintain inclusivity for all children with SEND.
- Great interpersonal skills
