Long - Term teachers are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years teacher to join a vibrant specialist school. As an Early Years teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. A 160-place special school and has the specialist resources needed to meet the needs of our students. State-of-the-art facilities for all the children and young people, this includes a warm water pool for physiotherapy; a sports hall; a sensory room; and fully accessible classrooms with the latest teaching technology. They offer a personalised curriculum alongside a wide range of enrichment opportunities and interventions. You would be working within a supportive team of committed teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and behaviour
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations

Requirements:
- Specialist education experience, in particular PMLD
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Valid driver's license (desirable not essential)
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
- Strong communication skills, both with children and adults
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding and supporting children's learning
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
