Responsibilities: As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for the well-being, development, and safety of the babies in our care. Specifically, your role will involve:

  1. Baby Room Management:

    • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the baby room.
    • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for infants.
    • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support their development.
  2. Child Care:

    • Providing personal care, including diaper changes and assisting with potty training.
    • Building strong relationships with the babies and ensuring their emotional needs are met.
    • Writing observations in learning profiles and tracking each child’s progress.
  3. Safety and Environment:

    • Maintaining a child-friendly and safe play area.
    • Ensuring classrooms and outdoor spaces are conducive to learning and exploration.
    • Following health and safety guidelines rigorously.
  4. Communication:

    • Collaborating with parents, relatives, and carers to ensure smooth pick-up and drop-off routines.
    • Keeping parents informed about their child’s positive progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
  5. Continuous Learning:

    • Staying up-to-date with early years learning developments.
    • Exploring new teaching methods and activities to enhance children’s experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification: You should hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or Nursery Assistant.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
