Early Years Practitioner

Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner or above looking for a new challenge? Class People are a registered and well-established recruitment agency, specialising in the placement of teachers and early years practitioners within the South West. Class People are currently working with a setting in Upper Slaughter who are on the lookout for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner who can work 30-40 hours; hours to be confirmed, but working 4 to 4.5 days a week.

As the right person for this job, you will:

• Be a minimum of Level 3 qualified with a relevant childcare qualification, e.g. BEd, NVQ, CACHE, etc.
• Have experience working with children aged 0-5 years old, spanning at least 2 years.
• Be flexible to work across the different ages initially.
• Be a conscientious individual who is honest and trustworthy and happy to take responsibility for a group of approximately 8 children.
• Be able to commit to at least working 30 hours a week with the potential to work up to 40 hours.
• Be subject to a valid DBS check or have a current DBS certificate that is registered on the update service.
• Be relatively local and own your own vehicle, as accessibility is difficult on public transport with the nursery location.
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding qualification/accreditation
• Have a love of the outdoors and be willing to get stuck in with all activities which could result in some muddy clothes!
