Job Description
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are seeking an experienced Early Years Family Practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to families with children under the age of five, ensuring that they receive appropriate services and interventions. The role requires a high level of expertise in child development, child protection, and family support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to families with children under the age of five
- Conduct assessments and develop support plans
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including health visitors, social workers, and education professionals
- Provide advice and guidance to families on a range of issues, including parenting, child development, and child protection
- Ensure that all interventions are evidence-based and delivered in accordance with best practice
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker, Early Years Practitioner or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience of working with families with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
