Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Early Career Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to begin your teaching career at a lovely school in West London?

We are seeking an Early Career Teacher looking for a Key Stage 1 position. The school we're working on behalf of are on the hunt for a dedicated Early Career Teacher to join their welcoming and supportive team at a thriving two - form entry primary school.

Early Career Teacher Role Overview:

As an Early Career Teacher in Key Stage 1, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and enriching learning experiences for their youngest learners. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. You will be responsible for planning and delivering exciting lessons, building positive relationships with pupils and parents, and creating a stimulating learning environment where children feel safe and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that are tailored to meet the needs of pupils in Key Stage 1.
  • Use a range of different teaching strategies and resources to support pupils' learning and development, including learning through play, phonics, and early numeracy skills.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support and intervention where necessary to ensure all pupils are developing.
  • Using your Early Career Teacher time out of class to prepare, plan and assess student work as well as being involved in the wider school community
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning in the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS status as an Early Career Teacher.
  • Passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality early years education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the wider school community.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
