EAL Teaching Assistant
Are you a Teaching Assistant who has experience supporting speakers of other languages? Do you enjoy heling children overcome barriers to communication? The Education Network is currently recruiting for an EAL Teaching Assistant to support children at a large secondary school. This role requires an experienced Teaching Assistant who previous experience supporting children with EAL.

As an EAL Teaching Assistant you will primarily be providing support for children whose first language is not English, working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis. This role requires experience working with EAL and as a Teaching Assistant.
Job Role:
  • Supporting children with English as an Additional Language.
  • Helping children and families to adjust to life in the UK.
  • Providing support for Teaching Assistants and Teachers at school level.
  • Liaising with parents who might not speak English.
  • Supporting the SENCO to meet the needs of students.
