About the role:

The Sports Complex Duty Manager will lead a team of recreation assistants and lifeguards to achieve consistently high standards of customer service and safety in the sports complex and tennis centre.

The successful applicant will also support the operations manager in developing and implementing procedures for quality, health and safety. With your leadership skills, you will embrace the training and monitoring of staff.

The ideal candidate will be driven, determined and enthusiastic in delivering high standards on a consistent basis. The following attributes will ensure you are successful in this role:

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure to resolve conflicts and manage emergency situations

  • Detailed understanding of a sports and leisure facility’s day-to-day operations (dry side and wet side)
