Job Title: Dumper Roller Operator - Substation Project

About the scheme: We are currently engaged in a £200 million substation project in Carlisle and are seeking a skilled Dumper Roller Operator to contribute to the success of this groundbreaking initiative.

Job Description: As a Dumper Roller Operator on our £200 million substation project, you will be responsible for operating and manoeuvring heavy construction machinery, specifically dumpers and rollers. Your precision and expertise will be integral to achieving project milestones while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dumpers and rollers to transport and compact materials on the construction site.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure efficient project progress.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance requirements.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Dumper Roller Operator in large-scale construction projects.
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for Dumper and Roller operation.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
  • Ability to interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Project Duration: Ongoing - 2 years.
